Hey there, quilters! It's Daisy here, the mannequin who has the best gig ever—hanging out at The Quilters Retreat.Store all day.
You might think my life is all standing still, but let me tell you, I've got front-row seats to every stitch, snip, and coffee break. Yep, I see it all. And trust me, there's nothing quite like watching a quilt take shape while wearing the latest funny t-shirt from our store.
When I'm not modeling the quirkiest quilting shirts—like that one with "Life is Short, Buy the Fabric" (which I totally agree with, by the way)—I'm keeping an eye on the boss while she works her quilting magic. Whether it's free motion quilting or tackling some intricate applique, I’m always there, silently judging her stitches (just kidding, they're always perfect!).
"While the boss loves having me around, her husband seems to think I’m a bit… creepy. Can you believe that? He swears I move around the house on my own and scare him when he turns around. Honestly, the man’s convinced I’m some kind of haunted mannequin. (Spoiler alert: I’m not. Well, Halloween will be here soon, so maybe…)
But between you and me, I think he just doesn’t get my charm. I mean, how could anyone find this creepy? Do you think I’m creepy? I didn’t think so.
